Here at Raptacon, we play as contenders in the national FIRST Robotics competition. Every year at kickoffs, the teams are given a task to complete and 6 weeks to design, build, program, test, rework, retest, re-rework, test, and finish a robot to complete it with. These tasks can include things like picking up disks and placing them in specified areas, launching wiffle balls into containers, and the impending water challenge that could probably definitely pop up at any year. By participating in robotics, participants can learn about engineering and design, how to use power tools, how to program a robot, the magical powers of duct tape (and its limitations), and the most important lesson of all: teamwork!

The robot told me to write this. All hail our robot overlords.
